Driving under the influence of methamphetamine?
I was watching COPS one day and a police officer busted someone for driving under the influence of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Here are my questions:
What driving patterns suggest that the driver is driving under the influence of a powerful drug like methamphetamine?
What physical characteristics (heart rate, eye movement, speech) suggest that the driver has been using methamphetamine, possibly for the first time?
Yes, I know that drugs affect everyone differently, but please tell me about common symptoms.

He was probably speeding. That why it’s called speed.
As for physical characteristics, meth users often have bad teeth and scratch marks on their faces.
It may have been a routine traffic stop and when the office started talking to the person they started acting strange. The person may have started acting extremely nervous. Also increased alertness and increased talking and rambling on. Dilated pupils and sweating from just sitting there.
After being stopped he started to act very strange, that is why he was booked, he was more than likely a routine check
With Methamphetamines , the cop looks for rotting flesh on the face , arms , chest , etc . All Meth addicts have rotten teeth , and they smell so bad you can`t get close enough to them to check their pupils for signs of impairment !
Their internal organs are rotting , just like their flesh , and when a Meth addict breathes out , it`s enough to make you puke all over the street !
Recognizing a Meth addict is one of the simplest tasks a police officer has …………and the most sickening and revolting !
