How do I speed up my child support case?
I’ve been separated from my ex (with our now 3 year old child) for about a year now. I filed for child support and custody through DES (Department of economic security) through their child support enforcement section. I have gotten a case started and even an atlas number but it’s been almost a year now and I was wondering if there was anyway to make it go faster?

the only way is too hire a attorney, and when you file with an attorney you automaticly get a month for your ex to sign the agreement papers and if he doesnt, then your will go to mediation and talk about child support and custody, then go back to the judge and figure out who gets your child when and who gets paid what
my mom and i did this, and before we were getting $300 a month and now were getting $1,500, but if we would of done what you are doing we would of only gotten $600
