That said, pot is likely safer, unless you get rear ended. I had a buddy that toked up and got a ticket for DUI and going under the posted minimum speed, 31 in a 70.

No, it’s not any safer. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that weed is “safer” that drinking. Under the influence is exactly what it means. You want to be fully coherent when you drive or you might do something you will regret for the rest of your life that you can never take back. It’s that serious. Safe driving to you!
