Most of us have received mailings from law firms saying there is a class action lawsuit that affects us. We have to fill in a form an send it in to get out part of the money if the suit or settlement are successful. We have to fill out a form and send it in if we want to opt out.
But despite filling out their forms, I have never ever heard anything further, and I have experienced a few of these mailing involving different companies. .
Are these class action suits just for the enrichment of lawyers?

if a class action suit is 2 million dollars, can anyone tell me what part goes to the lawyers and what part goes to thier clients. someone told me that the lawyers get 33% of the total settlement. Is this true?

I’m part of a suit against a company whose stock plummeted a little over a year ago. I guess the lawyers think the company pumped up the price artificially. Anyway, what usually happens? Best case/worst case scenario?

The careless use is costing thousands of lives.
