What does a good child support lawyer in NC usually cost?
I would like to file a civil suit for 8 yrs of back child support. The father disapeared soon after I became pregnant and I have been trying to find him and establish paternity and child support for 8 yrs. Finally found him and we live in different states. I dont want to go through the state system to do it if possible. Also the name of a good lawyer would be very helpful. Thank you in advance.
Go through the state if you can. It sounds like a hassle but its free and a lawyer will cost lots of money. They do paternity in different states no one will have to travel. GOOD LUCK!
